About the Author
Jay M. Shafritz is professor emeritus of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He is the author, co-author, or editor of more than 40 textbooks and reference books on business and public administration. He holds a doctorate from Temple University and an MPA from the Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Albert C. Hyde is Senior Scholar in Residence in the Department of Public Administration and Policy School of Public Affairs at American University. He has been an advisory consultant for the U.S. Department of Interior and U.S. Forest Service on federal policy and strategy development. From 1992 to 2008, he was a senior consultant for the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.. His academic experience includes directing public administration programs at San Francisco State University and the University of Pittsburgh. He holds an MPA and a PhD from the State University of New York at Albany.

Though this is a smaller (ie page-wise) missal than the Roman Missal, the pages are much thinner, and as noted by another reviewer,you can see through the paper to the next page. I found it difficult to find the ordinary of the Mass, even in the table of contents.I will stick to the larger Roman Missal, though it has content I will never use, it is printed on much better paper and I find it easier to use.

This is my first Missal after leaving the Novus Ordo and attending Latin-only Chapels. It is beautiful, easy to use, and has everything you need to follow the daily Mass plus lots of extra prayers, etc. The faux leather cover doesn't bother me. Angelus Press does a great job!

I needed a new Missal since my old one was getting dilapidated. Great edition, covers every day not just Sundays and Holy Days. Includes additional prayers and Sacraments besides Mass. Features sidebar notes in the ordinary of the Mass to help you reflect on the Mass prayers.There's a table with dates for Easter and so on going way into the future. For some reason I find this comforting. My old Missal ran out of dates in a similar table at 1970, kind of odd when you think about it in light of events in November 1969.One of my most cherished possessions, as it would be for anyone who loves the Mass.

This missal has rather thin paper, but there is a lot between the covers. The flexible cover is also rather thin, but the overall weight is lighter than it would have been with heavier paper and a thicker cover. It has very nice ribbons which don't fray, and the gilting is very nicely done. The arrangement of the content makes this a very easy missal to use. Of special note, and the reason for the 5-star review, is the collection of private prayers found in the front of the missal. It is an absolutely outstanding collection. I use this missal for daily prayers.The fact it is published by the Angelus Press shouldn't make anyone hesitate to buy this edition. The poster who wrote the caution should have researched his objection more carefully.

It contains EVERYTHING you will need for traditional Catholic worship. ALL prayers, ALL ceremonial instructions, ALL Trad Catholic Liturgies, even sidebar commentary on the Latin Roman Rite Mass and WHY things are being done the way they are.For any non-Catholic, Catholic convert, or even us cradle Catholics coming back to our precious Sacred Liturgy that was ripped away after the "pastoral" VCII, this definitely the missal to get. If I had ONLY one book in my possession, THIS would be it.

My wife and I have been going to the Latin Mass for about two years now. It has been a whole new experience to attend Mass in the manner the Catholic Church originally envisioned. This Missal has the Latin version of Mass on one side of the page, and in English on the other. It is very easy to follow and I've never been more in touch with how the Mass is prayed before. I've used many of the pre Vatican II missals to include but not limited to the New Marian Missal, the St Andrew's Daily Missal, The Roman Missal (Fr. Lasance), and the St Joseph's Missal. I like this one better than all of them. It's very clear and easy to follow, it has an easy to read index, it has very useful explanations throughout the mass and many days throughout the year which are helpful to me and to friends who attend the Latin mass with me who are not as familiar, it has rubrics which kinda tell you what the priest is doing in case it's difficult to follow him, and I could go on.Con: the only con that I have for this missal and the ONLY reason that I took one star is that it's imitation leather here on Amazon, but that's an easy fix at [...] They offer a Very nice leather one for $68.00 I gave my imitation leather one away and now I have the Leather one.

I gave my daughter Create this Book, because she was talking about it for so long!!! She said that her favorite youtuber, Moriah Elizabeth, created it. My daughter also said that Moriah Elizabeth made squishy makeovers, which my daughter watches ALL the time!!! I was so happy to see my daughter draw/color, instead of going on electronics.
